Last Friday, Activision announced that Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX will be heading to Dreamcast.

Here are the initial details:

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX features Hoffman and seven of the sport's hottest riders including Cory Nastazio, Simon Tabron, Dennis "DMC" McCoy, Kevin Robinson, Rick Thorne, Mike "Rooftop" Escamilla, and Joe "Butcher" Kowalski. Each of the riders who have competed this season also placed in the top 10 in their respective disciplines, at all the above competition series. Nastazio was the dirt stunt-riding champion at the "CFB", while Tabron took second right under Hoffman at the World Championships, third at the Alps Challenge and fifth overall at the "BSS" in the vert competitions. McCoy faired well placing fourth overall in the "BSS" and sixth at the Alps Challenge in vert-riding, as well as seventh overall in street riding in the "BSS". Robinson closed out the top five at the World Championships vert competition, and Thorne came in fourth in the "CFB" series and tenth overall at the "BSS" in vert.

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX challenges players to perform hundreds of tricks and signature moves in a variety of realistic, street, vert and dirt jump courses. Using an intuitive and solid control scheme, the game features 2-player H-O-R-S-E, split-screen Demolition Derby and Graffiti for all three types of courses. Gamers can also play in the career mode, moving up the ranks to win the ultimate BMX crown by unlocking new courses and upgrading their bike and rider abilities.

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX is being developed for Activision by Runecraft, Ltd., utilizing an enhanced version of Activision's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game engine
