Just when it seems the days of classic 2-D shooters has been lost to the advancement of polygons, along comes Darius Gaiden. An unbelievable mixture of graphics, music and gameplay are found in this great Taito game (published by Acclaim). What sets it ahead of the pack? Old school fun and modern graphics. Oh, and a rockin' soundtrack. Check this one out.
