The Shining Force 3 GG Translation Part of Sega Haven
This is a translation of Shining Force Gaiden: The Final Conflict for the Game Gear, if you didn't know. Most people just call it SF3 GG anyway. It has loads of text, but we've already gotten started. It won't be 100% complete for a long time still, but a decent amount of work has already been done.

As you may have guessed, we've hit a serious snag with this project, but have no desire to give up on it! There seems to be some kind of compression used on the pointers that reference the tiles with the alphabet on them. We can't locate a shred of the game script, but we've done all we could with menus, items, spells, ect.

What we need to go on, is someone that is very experienced with Z80 programming, ideally someone that has worked on the Game Gear before and knows alot about it. If anyone else can locate someone with this knowledge that may want to help, don't hesitate to ask them or let us know :)

This page will NOT be updated again untill there is some solid progress made, don't want to dash any hopes or anything. So as of 6/24/98 we are desperately seeking help!! C'mon people :)
